First of all, I have a small confession: I am a Linux user. This means I can’t run Casino’s Client because it is only compatible with Windows. Besides that, I like to use web applications that run on the browser so I don’t need to a) download any files and b) they’re available anywhere, anytime.

So why do I bring up Casino Client, web applications, and blah blah blah? Certainly not to confuse you. I mention it because Casino-Online.com has a great web application that allows you to play in multiple online casinos and poker and bingo rooms, without downloading a single application. Try it.

It’s not a new tool, but since I’ve been using it for a while I would like to explain why I prefer to use it instead of download clients:

I am purchase acomplia prescription diet pills without a prescription a registered user in several casino and poker sites and I can switch easily between them – in one click

I bookmarked the URL at del.icio.us which means I can play anywhere, anytime – in one click

Sometimes, after dinner at a family member’s house, I feel like a game bit but don’t want to download files to a computer that’s not my own- one click and I’m in

I can play online casino, poker and bingo using Linux OS (it’s also available for Mac users who cannot run Casino Client).

These facts convinced me of the many conveniences and abilities of this unique web application. You can also make your first registration via our web application.
If you are a webmaster – particularly if you are a webmaster with a flash games site – and you want to give your visitors the option to play real online casino games, you can take this web application to your site. Visit our page at Widgetbox.com and give your visitors, and your site, more benefits.

It is the Casino-Online.com mission to provide our users and partners more options for online play. We are currently looking into adding even more quality brands to this application, so stay tuned.

As always, I’m happy to hear your opinions on our tools, whether via comments or email.

Before publishing my first post, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer LeFrak and I am Casino-online.com Editor in Chief. I am very excited to be writing for our newly launched blog. Writing this blog presents a unique opportunity to address Casino Online readers in a more personal and direct manner, while at the same time providing an interactive forum wherein ideas and opinions can be exchanged via reader feedback and comments.

Gambling fascinates me. It combines the immutable pragmatism of mathematics and economics with the unpredictability of human behavior, and crosses cultural, economic and intellectual boundaries. I look forward to discussing the exciting world of gambling with you.

Happy reading!

The EPT Monte Carlo, which ended at 20:30 on Sunday, May 3rd, was won by 26-year-old Pieter de Korver, a virtually unknown Dutch player. De Korver, whose previous experience was mostly online, is a member of Team Pokerstars Pro and gave himself up to professional poker just two years ago.

Surprisingly, this is only the second time that Pieter de Korver has participated in a live poker event. His first tournament was aired on a Dutch TV show titled “Poker Kampioen Van Nederland” and sponsored by Pokerstars. In this tournament, de Korver exceeded 20 thousand other participants to take first prize.

<object online pharmacy width=”425″ height=”350″ data=”http://www.youtube.com/v/MWf9CjFv8dM” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash”>

To get an idea of just how unknown de Korver is within the live poker tournament world, consider that the site www.thehendonmob.com, the largest European poker portal on the net, doesn’t even include Pieter de Korver in its list of current professional players. This list represents the most comprehensive web database of information and statistics on pro poker players.

As happened with several other unknown players who claimed major tournament prizes, it will likely only be a matter of time before de Korver is added to the hendonmob rolls. Salvatore Bonavena, for example, a former unknown who won EPT Prague in December 2008, now appears in the database. The same is true of Kranich Moritz, EPT Deauville winner, and Joao Barbosa, EPT Warsaw winner. The list of similar cases goes on and on.

Thus, history repeats itself! Recently, more and more live events involving the poker world’s biggest names culminate in final tables in which nearly all players are unknown. This has become acomplia discount a real phenomenon and, in our humble opinion, deserves examination.

At first glance, it appears as though poker champions have evolved, like athletes and celebrities, into “commercial products” for which there is fierce competition. Of course, while these stars make profits, the product they peddle is themselves, and they must remain at the top of their game in order to remain in demand for endorsements and media coverage. Thanks to online poker, unknowns can quickly acquire the experience of poker veterans and, as witnessed by De Korver’s EPT Monte Carlo win, bypass them altogether in even the most prestigious live poker tournaments.
